Well, I thought that I’ll write an update post on Odiogo. But I did not know that it’ll be so soon. As an update the odiogo plugin conflicts with a very important plugin (ajaxed wordpress). As a result, I’ve taken off the plugin and now you cannot see it anymore on my blog. However, you can use it as mentioned in the previous post. I’d soon be analyzing the code to check where the conflict is and try to make it work.

If you’d notice my blog. Off late there’s a button that looks like the one below. What this sweet little button does is to make my blog podcastable. That has two fold implications. It makes my blog feeds podcastable (that means you can now subscribe to my blog’s feed in audio format, one and it also makes my blog post to be read aloud.
Sweet, isn’t it. Don’t believe me. Hit the listen button on top of this post (or any other post) and this blog would start reading the respective post. Let me tell you how I did this. First, got to Odiogo and register your site/blog with it. You’ll get an instruction to install the plugin and also instruction of how to make your feeds pod cast compatible. Let me know what you feel. I haven’t seen any major performance deterioration, so I guess I am going to keep it. If I find something that makes it not great for my blog, I’ll take it off and will write a post on the same.
I am not sure if there are other services like this. I am going to explore. But if you want to help me stay lazy, post a comment mentioning similar service.

The symbol of the gods on the waistline of Playboy Model
(Reality TV – Big Brother Brazil) featured on Playboy magazine (Brazilian version). What’s noticeable is the fact that she has the symbol Om, just below her naval and above her waistline. I am wondering what would happen if the traditional religious and politically influential parties get to know this.
If I can quote from about.com on Om, this is what Hinduism says:
Om or Aum is of paramount importance in Hinduism. This symbol (as seen in the image on the right) is a sacred syllable representing Brahman, the impersonal Absolute of Hinduism — omnipotent, omnipresent, and the source of all manifest existence. Brahman, in itself, is incomprehensible; so a symbol becomes mandatory to help us realize the Unknowable. Om, therefore, represents both the unmanifest (nirguna) and manifest (saguna) aspects of God. That is why it is called pranava, to mean that it pervades life and runs through our prana or breath.
And following is what Upnishada says:
“The goal which all the Vedas declare, which all austerities aim at, and which men desire when they lead the life of continence … is Om. This syllable Om is indeed Brahman. Whosoever knows this syllable obtains all that he desires. This is the best support; this is the highest support. Whosoever knows this support is adored in the world of Brahma.”
 There’s no point of view that I am trying to sugges. It’s up to my readers to make there opinion and to have a point of view. I am just bringing this as an FYI.
Internet is for Porn (Nudity)!
Who says internet is for information, networking or any other thing that you can argue about. It won’t be an exaggeration if I said that internet is for Porn. In true sense porn as a word is very subjective and I won’t be able to hold an argument if I was trying to be absolute. What I mean is that what sells and drives bucks on Internet is Porn (call it nudity do avoid the argument in this case).
I am talking about the website zivity.com. If your corporate.University firewall is using proventia then you’ll not be able to open the site. Use some proxy at your own risk. Fox news announced a few hours back that the subscription based social networking site will be hence forth available for 18 years and older and would charge a monthly subscription of $10. 40% of it’s monthly income will go to the creator of the content. This site is available as of now in Beta and only by invitation. The site is expected to be launched in 2009.
