The debate over having cheerleaders perform in DLF IPL matches to be held in Mumbai, is finally starting to settle with the Mumbai police saying that the cheerleaders will not be banned.

The police assured that no cheerleaders will be arrested. However, they were dubious in saying that the authorities will be blamed if the cheerleaders would dress obscenly. I am not sure who is the authority to decide what is obscene and what is not. The term obscene is not absolute and may mean different to different people.

Earlier, on Thursday, the Maharashtra government had said that it was considering a ban on cheerleaders in the DLF IPL matches in Mumbai.

I still remember the hoopla we had when India was chosen for the Miss World Contest. We all have to wait to see people grow up. I think the tournament has been held in good spirits and issues like this should not take away the charm away from it.

And people really have too much of time to believe this. According to some articles being published on various blogs and sites, there seems to be tree that has it’s fruit which is structured in the form of a woman. Don’t believe me, take a look at the following gallery.

Supposedly this tree is located at Petchaboon province about almost 500 Kilometers away from Bangkok. The authors have named it as Nareepol which apparently mean Wonan/Girl tree. However, even in India if you separate the 2 words Naree would mean Woman/Girl and Pol would mean Plant/Tree. I am sure this picture is worth being part of the site worth1000. And I am pretty amused to see that people are believing in something like this. We need NGC or Discovery to go there to tell the truth.

I know it sounds funny. But there was a funny story on the death chart for Rambo series. I went through the read and found it too good to avoid a post for the same. Following is the death chart for the Rambo series and it has some real cute figures. Kids hate maths and stats, now you have a great chart for them to analyze. I am sure they’d love to go through it and come out with all the possible explanation.

The most disappointing figure in there is the number of Sex scenes in each Rambo flick. Zero as a number is quite disappointing. I am starting to believe that probably Jean-Claude Van Damme should have been asked to do the Rambo series.
