US blames India again-This time for Oil price rise!
After the controversial statement by US president Bush on India and China being the reasons for rise of food prices, which created quite a rage, White House Deputy Spokesman Scott Stanzel attributed the rise in Oil prices to the increased demand by countries like India and China.
I am not sure if these statements are an effort to curb the problem of identity crisis that Mr Bush and his official are suffering from. Probably they are too worried about the declining value of dollar and are frustrated and make such comments. The good thing for US government would be to look at factors internally which might be causing the dollar crisis.
I am no expert in talking about economic factors and factors that affect the inflation in a country, but I think if one were to think logically, then the best solution is to clean your house first and then think about cleaning the locality. Perfectly applies to Mr Bush!
How about considering the per capita consumption of oil in US and in India. Commonsense! India in the so called words is a developing country and hence the need for products and service is bound to grow. For US the so called developed country they are already developed and they should find a way to reduce their consumption of oil. I am sure without having support from studies I can say that the consumption of oil in US is going up by every year. If US boasts to be a developed economy, then they should find ways of curbing their dependence on oil.
My remarks are entirely towards the childish statements of My Bush and his government and not to US as a country. I don’t think I deserve a right to question the people of a country. So next time Mr Bush and his officials should think a little before they speak.
